Hard questions
FAQ
Honest answers about hybrid architecture, SEEDOS emission, governance trust, economic freezes, and Seed holder rights.
- Why hybrid/off-chain?
- Because strategy games need low-latency mutation, replayable state, and economic repairability. Wardenseed keeps gameplay in USK/Postgres and commits only settlement, ownership, and proof to chain.
- Why not fully on-chain?
- A fully on-chain forest would turn normal care actions into gas events and make balance patches painful. The chain is strongest as a settlement and verification boundary.
- How is SEEDOS minted?
- SEEDOS is minted through replay-protected settlement batches. The engine computes emission off-chain, GEO clamps risk, and the contract enforces max supply plus duplicate batch protection.
- What prevents inflation?
- Hard yearly caps, dynamic epoch ceilings, sink pressure, staking ratios, UEI, and emergency clamps all reduce emission capacity when the ecosystem is stressed.
- Is this pay-to-win?
- Seed NFTs and SEEDOS create ownership and settlement surfaces. They do not replace gameplay truth or turn every forest action into a purchase.
- What happens if Base goes down?
- Gameplay can continue off-chain while settlement queues pause. Once Base recovers, batches can reconcile without rewriting the simulation ledger.
- Why Ethereum anchors?
- Ethereum L1 is used as a sparse public notary for raw USK roots. It proves historical checkpoints without forcing the whole world loop onto L1.
- What rights do Seed holders have?
- Seed holders own ERC-721 assets and may access launch, provenance, marketplace, and future governance surfaces. They do not own the database or force emission.
- How are royalties used?
- Royalties route toward treasury-controlled protocol operations, liquidity, security, and ecosystem maintenance under the treasury policy model.
- Is governance trustless?
- Governance is moving toward snapshot-weighted execution with timelock controls. It is not allowed to arbitrarily mint, drain treasury, or rewrite anchors.
- Can the economy freeze?
- Yes. Circuit breakers can pause minting, settlement, marketplace, and LP surfaces when risk exceeds safe bounds.
- What is UEI?
- UEI is the Unified Economic Index: a compact signal for system pressure, velocity, supply, sinks, and market posture.
